Position Overview

Role Summary:
We are looking for a nurturing and committed caregiver to assist an adult with autism who has limited verbal communication. The selected individual will help with daily living tasks, provide transportation for community engagement, and support the development of social skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the living space.
  • Support with daily household tasks, ensuring they are completed effectively.
  • Transport the individual to various community activities and events.
  • Plan and engage in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable.
  • Ensure safety and provide supervision during outings.
  • Encourage social interactions to enhance social skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with adults on the autism spectrum is preferred.
  • Ability to create and participate in engaging activities.
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid car insurance.
  • Successful completion of a Level 2 Background Check is mandatory.

Work Schedule:

  • Part-time hours
  • Available on Monday, Friday, and Sunday
  • Flexible scheduling options
