About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician to join our Behavioral Health team at Orange Regional Medical Center. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care to individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned patient care tasks and other related unit duties under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Assist with patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in hospital crisis training programs and maintain current BLS certification.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required; 2-year college degree related to psychology preferred.
  • One year experience in Behavioral Health or related human services field required if no college background.
  • Current BLS certification and ability to lift 10 lbs.
