United Way Miami is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director, Major Gifts- Hybrid to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to achieve annual and endowment campaign goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding gifts of $100,000 or more.
  • Collaborate with development staff, volunteers, and other stakeholders to achieve fundraising goals.
  • Participate in donor meetings, events, and other activities to build relationships and secure gifts.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of donor interactions, gifts, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Five years of experience in individual fundraising, with a track record of closing major gifts in education or human services.
  • Knowledge of modern web browsers, Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management systems.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $83,230 - $105,000 annually.
  • A hybrid schedule with 2 days from home and 3 days on-site.
