Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care department at Wilson County Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional patient care to those who are acutely ill or injured. As a Registered Nurse in Acute Care, you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educating patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
- Documenting patient care and progress in electronic medical records
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
