Theoria Medical is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in skilled nursing facilities across the country.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as medical director for skilled nursing facilities, overseeing quality initiatives and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to manage resident care and provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services
- Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including bacterial and viral infections, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes
- Supervise and train facility clinical staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in Theoria's Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, RPM, and other medical quality initiatives and programs
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
- Experience as a medical director or in a similar leadership role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records and other medical software
