We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care department at Wilson County Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment options
- Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Additional requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure with the State of Kansas RN Licensure and current CPR, ACLS, and PALS within one year of employment. The successful candidate will also be required to work night shifts, every other weekend, and shared holidays.
