Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

NovaCare Rehabilitation is actively seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our outpatient services.
We are looking for a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (with PTA-IS license) to provide essential coverage at our outpatient facility. Candidates with a solid foundation in orthopedic practices and effective time-management abilities are encouraged to consider this opportunity. A valid PTA-IS license is required.
Our approach incorporates a range of evidence-based treatment modalities and manual therapy techniques to develop tailored treatment plans that assist each patient in reaching their individual objectives. The work environment is designed to foster skilled patient care while offering opportunities for professional growth within a leading organization in outpatient physical therapy.
Work Schedule: PRN, as needed, Monday through Friday.
Compensation: Starting at $23.00/hour, with potential increases based on experience.
Unique Position Details: This role involves providing coverage as needed at our outpatient orthopedic center. The focus is on community-based, patient-centered care for a diverse orthopedic patient demographic. Indirect supervision is part of the role.

- Utilize training and education to assist the Physical Therapist in executing prescribed treatment plans.
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with physical therapy principles and Select Medical policies.
- Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing relationships with staff and clients.
- Possession of a valid state license (where applicable), registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon completion of an accredited program, along with passing a national examination certified by CAPTE.
- State license and/or certification must be valid in the state of practice.
- Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
