Position Overview:

NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide essential support in our outpatient rehabilitation setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid PTA-IS license and demonstrate strong orthopedic expertise along with effective time-management abilities. Our approach incorporates a range of evidence-based treatment methodologies and manual therapy techniques, allowing us to tailor individualized care plans that empower our patients to reach their rehabilitation goals.

Our facility fosters a collaborative environment where skilled care is paramount, and we pride ourselves on being a leader in outpatient physical therapy.

Work Schedule:
Flexible hours as needed, Monday through Friday
Compensation:
Starting at $23.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, adhering to state regulations.
  • Utilize training and education to assist in executing prescribed treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services with minimal oversight, in line with established practices and company policies.
  • Maintain positive interactions with clients and facilities, enhancing relationships and communication.
Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a valid state license, registration, or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, having completed an accredited program and passed the national examination certified by CAPTE. Additionally, a current CPR certification is required.
