Position Overview:

NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide essential support in our outpatient rehabilitation center.

The ideal candidate will possess a PTA-IS license and demonstrate a solid understanding of orthopedic care, coupled with excellent time-management abilities. Our facility emphasizes the use of evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at helping patients reach their individual rehabilitation goals.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population while growing professionally within a leading organization in outpatient physical therapy.

Work Schedule:
Flexible hours as needed, Monday to Friday. Compensation starts at $23.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care under the guidance and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, adhering to state regulations.
  • Utilize your training to assist the Physical Therapist in executing prescribed treatment programs effectively.
  • Provide high-quality physical therapy services with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with established practices and policies.
  • Maintain positive interactions with patients and healthcare facilities, fostering strong relationships with clients and their staff.
Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant, having graduated from an accredited PTA program and successfully passed the national examination certified by CAPTE. CPR certification is also required.
