Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Tewksbury Hospital. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate independent psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to patients and their families.
  • Establish and maintain linkages with community agencies to ensure continuity of care and timely discharges.
  • Communicate with the Patient Care Reimbursement Investigators to ensure that all entitlements are in place as soon as possible post-admission.
  • Ensure that evaluations of ability to manage funds are complete as per DMH policy.
Requirements
  • A Master's or higher degree in social work.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems
  • Bilingual or multilingual fluency
