Job Summary

Summit Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Junior Data Scientist to join our team. As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with clients to provide data-driven solutions that drive real change in government and commercial missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement data analysis and visualization solutions using various tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to inform business decisions
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data science

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
  • 2 years of experience in a quantitative field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • AWS/Azure experience
  • Unix and Linux command line experience
  • Results reporting experience
