The Senior Analyst in Business Systems for Technical Services plays a crucial role in comprehending organizational workflows, gathering business and functional specifications, advocating for best-in-class business methodologies, and architecting and configuring essential systems and applications that support vital business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to showcase standard system capabilities and functionalities.
- Direct conversations with stakeholders to collect, assess, and document functional specifications.
- Deploy and configure systems adhering to industry best practices.
- Evaluate unique business needs and recommend standardized solutions.
- Supervise data migration initiatives concerning critical system components.
- Design, configure, and develop prototype solutions to present alternatives to stakeholders.
- Deliver precise and comprehensive specifications to developers and team members for solution architecture and development.
- Formulate and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing plans, including use cases and test data.
- Oversee and conduct system-testing activities for software releases and enhancements.
- Provide application and process-specific training to empower users on configured solutions.
- Document system configurations and testing methodologies to ensure quality and compliance with regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in enhancing and optimizing business processes through relevant system modules.
- Experience with complete lifecycle system implementations.
- Expertise in developing business process models and utilizing them to identify and articulate requirements.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle tools, such as Jira, is advantageous.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with minimal oversight and as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical personnel; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the aptitude to explore challenges, identify solutions, and apply critical thinking.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline is required.
