Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at CRMG. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing daily upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas for the apartment communities of Center Plaza and Greenbrier at Tanasbourne.

In this role, you will assist with essential maintenance duties including repairs, carpentry, electrical work, painting, landscaping, pool maintenance, and plumbing tasks under the guidance of experienced maintenance technicians. You must have amazing attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions working alone or as part of a team.

This position requires motivation, basic knowledge of various maintenance tasks such as landscaping, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and installation and repair of flooring. Pool maintenance experience is also preferred. Additionally, you should be able to lift up to 75 pounds, operate a pressure washer, and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily upkeep and cleanliness of buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lots, and trash areas
  • Assist with essential maintenance duties including repairs, carpentry, electrical work, painting, landscaping, pool maintenance, and plumbing tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and completed tasks
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations


Requirements:
  • One (1) year in the Housekeeping Porter position or One (1) year of previous maintenance technician experience in property management for commercial or multi-family properties
  • Janitorial experience is preferred
  • Possess current and valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal communications and directions
  • Understand and administer landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices


As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist with CRMG, you will have access to a competitive salary range of $18-$22 per hour. This hourly rate reflects the level of skill and experience required for this position. The compensation package also includes a monthly cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement for business-related travels.
