Job Summary
The Audio-Visual Integration Technician is responsible for installing and integrating audio-visual equipment, including cables, routers, switches, cameras, and display systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cable flow and installation, as well as the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and terminate cables, including SVID, Composite, RBGHV CAT 5, CAT 6, SDI, Fiber, HDMI, and DVI
  • Configure and program audio-visual equipment, including video routers and switches
  • Install and mount display systems, including wall panels and screens
  • Troubleshoot complex audio-visual equipment and resolve technical issues
  • Manage inventory of repair and replacement parts, including recording serial model numbers
  • Complete daily reports, project photos, timecards, and project status
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to provide exceptional customer service
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school, or relevant experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in audio-visual integration technical environment
  • Proficient with voltage meter, soldering iron, tone generator, multimeter, cable toners, striping cables, and network cable testers
  • Ability to read, interpret, and communicate reflected ceiling plans, elevation drawings, and room flow diagrams
  • Knowledge of basics of AC/D voltage
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to use various web-based portals
  • Ability to fit into tight spaces, including ceiling access panels, closets, and interstitial spaces
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs and operate mobile devices

Working Environment
This role requires 100% travel to reach project locations. Employees working in hazardous conditions and areas are required to comply with all applicable safety provisions and use PPE. The position is subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, noise, and physical demands. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
