Job Summary:

The Draper team in Cambridge, MA is seeking a highly skilled Inspector B to join our quality assurance organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections on a variety of materials, components, assemblies, and/or systems. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications will be essential in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on mechanical and electrical commodities, including visual, workmanship, dimensional, and electrical inspections
  • Document work results and generate inspection reports using Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
  • Comply with safety and security rules and observe good housekeeping practices
  • Achieve assignments with minimum direct supervision

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of technical schooling related to engineering, science, and/or mathematics
  • Four years of experience in a quality assurance organization performing tasks related to the inspection of mechanical or electrical commodities
  • Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from the American Society of Quality (ASQ) or equivalent
