Job Title: Inspector B

Draper Labs is seeking a highly skilled Inspector B to join our team in Cambridge, MA. As a key member of our quality assurance organization, you will be responsible for performing inspections on a variety of materials, components, assemblies, and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual, workmanship, dimensional, and electrical inspections on materials, components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Document work results and generate inspection reports.
  • Use and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and work to inspection procedures.
  • Follow and execute verbal and written instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of technical schooling related to engineering, science, and/or mathematics.
  • Quality Inspector Certification (CQI) from the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a quality assurance organization performing tasks related to the inspection of mechanical or electrical commodities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in an engineering or science program.
  • Five college credit technical courses in the area of engineering, science, and/or mathematics.
