Circle of Life Hospice is seeking a skilled Physician - Hospice Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide medical expertise in the management of terminal illness and other palliative care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Expertise: Determine eligibility/ineligibility of referred patients, manage disease and pain/symptom management for hospice patients, provide direct medical care, and educate patients and families on hospice care.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Promote teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals, provide guidance to hospice NP or nurse, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education and Credentials: Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy without restrictions in the State of Arkansas, Board Certified or Board Eligible in a Specialty, preferably Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • Professional Requirements: Comply with professional standards, laws, and regulations, maintain registration with the DEA, and qualify for Hospice's Professional Liability Insurance Coverage.
