Position Overview
As a key member of the LifeBridge Health Medical Group, the Ambulatory Nurse Education Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the professional growth of clinical staff. This position operates under the guidance of the Director of Ambulatory Clinical Practice, focusing on the following responsibilities:
- Delivering comprehensive orientation and ongoing education to all clinical personnel.
- Conducting competency assessments to ensure high standards of care.
- Empowering staff through knowledge acquisition and promoting excellence in evidence-based clinical practices.
- Regularly evaluating the educational needs of clinical staff and managing all clinical training programs and courses.
- Utilizing diverse teaching methodologies to effectively communicate with adult learners.
Qualifications
- Advanced professional knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree, with expertise in multiple disciplines.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in nursing education.
- Preferred: Maryland Registered Nurse Certification.
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association.
