Position Overview:
The IT Specialist will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless business operations. Collaborating closely with the IT team and various departments, the IT Specialist will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and uphold the security and integrity of our IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance to end-users, promptly resolving hardware and software challenges.
- Install, configure, and sustain hardware and software components, including computers, printers, servers, and networking devices.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of IT systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Assist in managing all audiovisual and meeting room technology setups.
- Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate IT needs and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Support the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on IT tools and systems, promoting best practices for effective utilization.
- Maintain thorough documentation of IT processes, procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
This role operates within a professional office setting, active warehouse, and distribution center.
Physical Demands:
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While fulfilling the responsibilities of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently stands, walks, and utilizes their arms and hands. They must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This individual may occasionally climb ladders, hang items, and service areas that require crawling or kneeling. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This full-time position operates Monday through Friday, with a routine work schedule that may include occasional after-hours or weekend commitments. The position may require being on call during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Travel:
Occasional travel may be necessary.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with proven experience in a similar role, is required. Strong technical skills in IT support, networking, and systems administration are essential.
Knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches) is necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions, are required.
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborative teamwork.
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows), productivity suites (Microsoft Office, G Suite), and troubleshooting tools is expected. Knowledge of beverage distribution software is preferred.

A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
