Job Title: Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at FloorMax USA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating new qualified sales leads, maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the flooring industry, generate leads, qualify prospects, and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing clients, serve as their dedicated point of contact and subject matter expert, and provide expert guidance and consultative selling to clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and prospects through the sales cycle, utilize NetSuite to document client interactions, maintain accurate records, and forecast sales projections.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in collaboration with the sales team, negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, pricing, and timelines to secure profitable deals while maintaining client satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred), proven track record of at least 5 years in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in construction.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Personal Attributes: Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
