Maimonides Medical Center is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Pediatric Team in Newborn Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and manage the care of newborns, including stabilization and coordination of care.
- Perform complete physical examinations, analyze diagnostic data, and initiate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish and implement plans of care.
- Provide clinical care to newborns, maintaining close communication with parents and pediatricians.
- Attend all deliveries requiring a Pediatric presence.
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current NYS licensure/registration.
- FNP certification.
- ANCC, PNP certification.
- Experience with the care of newborns, ages 0-1 month (Well Baby Nursery).
- NRP certification and ability to attend deliveries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
