Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead employees in a manufacturing environment, ensuring the achievement of all safety, quality, customer service, productivity, throughput, cost, and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Provide clear direction, leadership, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, coaching, and on-the-job assignments.
  • Direct employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Company regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain positive employee relations, including participating in evaluation and training of hourly personnel.
  • Track employees' work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are met, including resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes, as well as maintain line-related system and regulatory documentation.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Plan and establish work schedules.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a production management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to help take the team to the next level.
