Job Description

HorsePower Brands is a portfolio company of franchise brands in the home services industry delivering first-in-class customer service and experiences. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Initiative: Actively engage in leading and directing shared company initiatives, planning, and reporting as a proactive member of the Leadership Team. Collaborate with other leaders to set company goals and align operational strategies to achieve these objectives.
  • Management and Collaboration: Demonstrate assertiveness in driving successful management strategies and promoting high performance standards while effectively collaborating within a team. Ensure that all departments are aligned and working towards common goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
  • Financial Oversight: Review financial and operational performance, implementing action plans to enhance sales, optimize labor, and reduce operational expenses. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements, ensuring the company remains financially healthy and competitive.
  • Sales and Profitability: Drive sales and profitability strategy, including the construction and management of annual operating budgets. Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans that align with the company's financial goals and market conditions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster constructive relationships with cross-functional partners to develop and execute merchandising, marketing, and operational strategies. Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to improve market share, vendor relationships, and customer experience. Ensure that operational strategies are aligned with marketing and merchandising plans to drive overall business growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure that all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices. Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant.
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives. Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff. Create a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Ensure that the team is motivated, skilled, and aligned with the company's mission and goals.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure and track performance. Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Identify and implement innovative operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve the company's operations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of Five (5) or more years of multi-unit senior leadership experience with growing levels of responsibility
  • Outstanding track record for building a driven organization in a growth-oriented company.
  • Ability to think strategically, understand business challenges and formulate effective solutions designed to improve results.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and resolution skills and ability to achieve desired results in a fast-paced, highly competitive, multi-tasking environment.
  • Experience with CRM Tools.
  • Experience working in the home service field with franchisee preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field, preferred
