Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator with Top Secret Clearance to join our team at Information Management Group. As a key member of our technical services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Utilize industry-standard vulnerability management applications to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities
* Develop and implement patch remediation designs and standards following best practices
* Coordinate patch schedule with stakeholders and relevant personnel
* Communicate operational metrics and assist in developing action plans and status reports
* Research, evaluate, and implement patch and vulnerability remediation process
* Perform software installs, updates, and maintenance to ensure system stability and security
* Diagnose and resolve minor hardware and software technical problems

Requirements

* DOD Top Secret or DOE Q Clearance required
* High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of relevant experience
* Strong understanding of Linux Operating System and Linux command line
* Demonstrated ability to apply Linux software updates and follow documented procedures
* Experience with YUM and Red Hat package management
* Comfortable with Linux Command line and shells such as csh and bash and basic scripting
