Role Summary:
As a Bioscience Research Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of immune system dynamics and contributing to the development of groundbreaking therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Isolation and management of human primary immune cells, including in vitro culture techniques.
2. Conducting functional assays such as cell proliferation, migration, and activation studies.
In this lab-based position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary research team to identify and validate molecular targets that can modify disease progression. Your work will focus on areas such as gastroenterological and rheumatological immune disorders, with an emphasis on understanding autoimmune regulation and tissue repair mechanisms.
Main Duties:
As a Bioscience Research Scientist, you will:
- Engage in hands-on cell culturing and perform immune functional assays.
- Manipulate and characterize primary immune cells and cell lines.
- Design and execute laboratory experiments, develop methodologies, and analyze scientific data.
- Communicate findings effectively to team members and management.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Immunology or a related field with 0-1 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in in vitro immunology techniques, including immune cell isolation and functional assays.
- Familiarity with biochemical and molecular techniques such as qPCR, ELISA, Western Blotting, and Flow Cytometry.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for innovative research leading to the development of new therapeutics.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in human immunology and immune-mediated diseases.
- Background in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors is advantageous.
