Senior Applications Systems Analyst – TS/SCI required

Join a dynamic team as a Senior Applications Systems Analyst with General Dynamics Information Technology. In this role, you will be pivotal in transforming technology into opportunities, enhancing the systems that are crucial for operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily leadership and guidance to team members responsible for user support in areas such as email, directories, and standard desktop applications.
  • Oversee personnel acting as the primary contact for resolving hardware and software issues related to PCs and printers.
  • Assist in evaluating and analyzing new service requests to inform project managers about scope and effort.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of application systems is maintained.
  • Compile reports detailing outages, trends, and analyses relevant to IT systems.
  • Monitor system alarms and effectively triage calls for resolution.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of network troubleshooting principles and techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master's Degree with 10 years of experience.
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to conduct a variety of analytical tasks related to design and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and providing technical support to users.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements and advising on alternative solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with program personnel, government representatives, and senior executives.
  • Clearance Level: TS/SCI
  • Required Certifications:
  • DoD M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification is required prior to contract support.
  • IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent.
  • Additional Information:
  • Candidates must be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph for certain roles.
  • Position may involve physical activities such as lifting IT hardware and reaching for cables.
  • Travel may be necessary to fulfill mission requirements.
