Senior Intelligence Analyst and Military Operations Lead

Position Overview:
Legion Systems is in search of highly skilled Intelligence Analysts (IA) to provide support to USSOCOM.
As an Intelligence Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include researching, developing, and delivering intelligence products tailored for senior leadership at the operational level. This encompasses areas such as Counterterrorism (CT) and regional analysis, GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT/PAI, and political/military analysis to aid in targeting efforts. You will collaborate with various intelligence organizations to ensure teams are well-prepared for the exploitation of enemy personnel, and you will produce analytical products and assessments that support targeting initiatives and threat evaluations.

In the role of Expert-Level Intelligence Analyst/Military Specialist Site Lead (IA E/L), you will be expected to demonstrate advanced targeting capabilities and possess firsthand experience in identifying networks, individuals within those networks, and their vulnerabilities for potential exploitation. A comprehensive understanding of the F3EAD targeting cycle, along with familiarity with the latest data, tools, and techniques relevant to each targeting phase, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and current analytic tools, databases, and operational systems is required.

Your responsibilities will also include performing Site Lead functions, which involve directing requirements, guiding a team of intelligence analysts, ensuring quality control of products, and exhibiting strong organizational and administrative skills.

Required Qualifications:
The Expert-Level Intelligence Analyst/Military Specialist Site Lead (IA E/L) must meet the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of analytical experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) or equivalent government agencies, with at least five (5) years at the operational level.
  • Proficiency in utilizing contemporary intelligence-related automation, applications, tools, and databases to enhance analytical efforts and product development.
  • Strong briefing and presentation skills.
  • A solid background and direct experience in analytical areas such as Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE), data at rest Regional Analysis, Geo-Political Analysis, HUMINT/SIGINT Analysis, and Collection Management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team to identify trends and valuable information within data-at-rest, driving reporting and production to inform decision-makers of new developments and fulfill specific customer needs.
  • Experience in performing Site Lead functions, including directing requirements, focusing a team of intelligence analysts, ensuring product quality, and demonstrating strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and/or Counterterrorism (CT) intelligence is highly desirable.
  • Current Top-Secret clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Possession of a valid US passport.
  • Ability to meet all pre-deployment requirements, including medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screenings as necessary for deployability.
  • Willingness to obtain all required immunizations as mandated by the contract.
