About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and providing reassurance to alleviate anxiety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology or equivalent.
  • ARRT certification as a Medical Radiologic Technologist or eligible.
  • MRI registry certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or eligible.
  • At least one to two years of experience in MRI imaging.
