Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. This includes performing tests on in-patients and out-patients utilizing a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Receive radioactive materials, prepare radioactive material doses, and maintain radiation records.
  • Perform all tasks expected in rotation of hot lab area.
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
  • Perform all related duties such as scheduling, charging exams, etc.
  • Take emergency after hours call on rotating basis.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear school of medicine or Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
  • 1 year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
