Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and sustaining system infrastructure, including imaging, maintaining Cisco Meraki networks, and Microsoft servers. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our systems operate seamlessly and effectively, enabling us to deliver exceptional products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain system management tools, application software, and security measures.
- Proactively guarantee the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Implement security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems.
- Provide assistance to end users.
- Execute system imaging and manage Meraki networks.
- Administer servers, including updates, patches, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and introduce new technological solutions and enhancements to existing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a similar capacity.
- Strong background in the administration and performance optimization of application stacks.
- Experience with imaging, Meraki networks, and server maintenance.
- Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery practices.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is advantageous.
