Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Project Financing, you will be responsible for managing the execution and implementation of over $3 billion in new loans for various infrastructure initiatives and associated portfolio entities. This role necessitates ongoing communication and collaboration with lenders, external consultants, internal investment teams, capital markets, and executives within our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of financial models in conjunction with CIM Investments and Portfolio Oversight.
- Develop comprehensive information memorandums that outline potential investments for prospective lenders.
- Analyze and compare proposals, presenting recommendations to the management team.
- Conduct thorough capital markets research related to infrastructure asset acquisitions and financing transactions.
- Ensure adherence to CIM Capital Markets policies, including lender outreach and due diligence processes.
- Participate in strategic discussions regarding capital market needs and keep management informed on capital market activities.
- Review asset-level budgets and forecasts, aligning them with fund-level strategies.
- Perform financial analysis at the asset level to support fund-level initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking or finance, with a focus on M&A, project finance, or transaction consulting.
- Experience in various infrastructure sectors such as digital, renewable energy, and transportation is preferred.
- Strong financial modeling skills are essential.
