Cardiovascular Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team at HCA Florida Pasadena Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.
- Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Collect accurate data and participate in patient care in accordance with departmental standards.
- Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
- Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status, and document findings and reports abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
- High school or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
- LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire, or one year of Cath Lab experience, or one year of RCIS or CVT, or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC skills.
