Your Role

As a Cardiovascular Technician II, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, efficient care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing emergency procedures related to catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Recognizing and addressing potential patient issues, gathering accurate data, and participating in the patient's care in alignment with departmental standards.
  • Prioritizing patient care and diagnostic activities based on reliable patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, along with specific conditions and treatment therapies relevant to our patient population.
  • Assisting in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular health.
  • Documenting findings and reporting any abnormal results to the physician.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or relevant certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a licensed field, with at least one year in a cardiac cath lab.
  • For LPNs, one year of experience with a Critical Care course completed within the first year of employment or equivalent experience in a Cath Lab.
