Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Cardiovascular Technician II, you will:
- Conduct emergency procedures related to catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Exhibit accountability in identifying patient issues and collecting precise data in accordance with departmental standards.
- Prioritize patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate information and staff capabilities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as the specific conditions and treatments relevant to our patient population.
- Assist in the collection of data regarding cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status, documenting findings and reporting any abnormalities to the physician.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a licensed field, with at least one year in a cardiac cath lab.
- For LPNs, one year of experience with a Critical Care course completed within the first year of employment or equivalent experience in a Cath Lab.
