As a Principal Test Engineer I, you will actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. You will define and track quality assurance metrics, such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status. You will also actively and independently acquire and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrate them into business processes to address business needs.
Requirements- 10+ years of system development, testing, and/or business experience
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
- In-depth experience with automation development languages like Java, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar
- Expert in test tools (HPQC, TestRail, etc.)
- In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Effective solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements into test plans
- Effective communicator (written and verbal)
- Effective attention to detail
- Display professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor and discretion
- Critical thinker, ability to negotiate with key stakeholders and maintain positive attitude
- Effective organizational skills
- Understanding of database schemas and querying tools
- Demonstrated in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of test automation framework and tools
- Extensive experience leading teams
- Master's Degree
