Truck Driver CDL Position

Job Summary:

The Truck Driver CDL-A is responsible for product movement between Stonewall Kitchen sites and regional vendors. This role performs systematic inventory movement and equipment-aided loading and unloading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other appropriate equipment.
  • Use warehouse management devices to systematically load and unload products.
  • Perform pickups and deliveries to or from vendors, Stonewall Kitchen facilities, and other locations as directed.
  • Perform general maintenance for company vehicles, including checking oil, filling fuel tanks, and removing snow.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicles throughout shifts and at the end of shifts.
  • Complete and maintain daily DOT trucking logs via Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs), including safety inspections.
  • Report any conditions requiring attention to appropriate department supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • A valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record and no restrictions.
  • Proper enrollment in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, twist, bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs.
  • Three years of driving experience preferred.
  • Experience with Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) preferred.
  • Computer literacy required.
