The Production Technician I (Elements) plays a crucial role in assembling components and subassemblies, including specialized assemblies.

This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Elements Department and requires onsite work. The typical work schedule involves evening shifts, with regular overtime expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machinery and associated equipment within a continuous production environment. This includes precise measurement, assembly, and construction of components according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets, utilizing basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers, scales, thermometers) and completing necessary documentation such as scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, and data logs.
  • Handle and mix chemicals, oils, and solvents as outlined in the SOPs, processing materials in a controlled environment. This role frequently involves working with various chemicals and adhesives.
  • Adapt to different roles within the Elements/Cabin Air Lines and be available for overtime as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
  • Basic knowledge of using calipers for precise measurements and fundamental shop mathematics.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Must be capable of bending, lifting, standing, sitting, and twisting for extended periods, with the ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Additional Requirements:

This position necessitates access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Employment offers are contingent upon obtaining necessary employment visas and export authorizations, including, if needed, an export license from the relevant U.S. government agency.
