ADM's Global Business Services team is dedicated to delivering efficient, compliant, and reliable services across the organization. The Commodities Management Services sector is responsible for essential transactional operations throughout the Americas. This position is not eligible for remote work.
Role Scope:
We are seeking a full-time Support Analyst to join our Agris Support team. This team provides assistance to personnel in our network, ensuring that transactions are accurately and consistently recorded in our accounting systems. Support is typically provided through various communication channels, including phone, email, and collaboration tools. The role also involves defining systematic changes to accommodate new initiatives and conducting user acceptance testing to ensure expected outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Preferred educational background includes an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Agriculture, or Information Technology.
- Experience of 3-5 years within ADM or a similar environment is preferred.
- Prior exposure to grain settlement processes and transactional system support is advantageous.
Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills, initiative, and problem-solving capabilities are essential for adapting to a dynamic work environment.
- A reliable track record of meeting deadlines and a commitment to assisting others is crucial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team while managing multiple tasks.
- Extensive experience in the end-to-end commodities settlement process is preferred.
- Previous system support experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, and Access.
- Fluency in a secondary language, such as Spanish or Portuguese, is desirable.
- Familiarity with NGFA trade regulations and grain licensing procedures is beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Timely resolution of support emails and service tickets.
- Assist in standardizing, automating, and continuously improving CMS processes.
- Document and update Standard Operating Procedures related to CMS activities.
- Build relationships and enhance stakeholder satisfaction at the operational level.
- Drive operational excellence through root cause analysis and lean management practices.
- Foster a mindset of continuous improvement within CMS.
- Assist with risk management issues across CMS transactional activities.
- Support the team in adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Provide training via phone and collaboration tools on transaction processing and report retrieval.
- Research and submit program change requests to the IT department.
- Test and evaluate programming changes to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
