About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Competitive Intelligence professional to join our Global Franchise Pipeline team at BioSpace, Inc. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive competitive and strategic insights to support decision-making across various therapeutic areas at BioSpace, Inc. globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts across multiple therapeutic areas globally, ensuring functional leaders are equipped with essential competitive information for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough competitive and market assessments to identify market dynamics, trends, and potential impacts on BioSpace, Inc.'s pipeline, delivering insights to executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the reliability of competitive intelligence research findings, upholding stringent standards for accuracy, relevance, and quality in all deliverables, and effectively communicate the level of evidence to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and R&D to integrate internal and external information, analytics, and data to derive value-added.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure continuous and comprehensive market intelligence coverage.
  • Regularly present detailed analyses and summaries of results, interpret data, and provide recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of BioSpace, Inc.'s diverse product offerings, competitive positioning, and the broader market dynamics shaping the industry's future.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a related field within the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven track record of conducting market assessments and delivering strategic insights.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS, or PhD) in Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in competitive intelligence with a focus on multiple therapeutic areas.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and influence decision-making at the executive level.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
