Speech-Language Pathologist for Educational Settings

Position Highlights:

  • Competitive compensation ranging from $65/hr to $73/hr
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply, with starting rates at $60/hr
  • Flexible employment options available, including W2 and 1099 arrangements
  • No restrictive non-compete clauses in contracts

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (Provisional acceptable)
  • Preferred: South Carolina Teaching Certificate
  • Experience in a school-based environment is advantageous but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide therapy for students with speech and language challenges
  • Create and execute individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and professionals to enhance student success
  • Track and document student progress, modifying plans as necessary
  • Engage in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Job Type: Temporary

Expected Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week

  • Monday to Friday
  • No evening or weekend shifts

Education Requirement:

  • Master's degree (Required)

  • Preferred: SC Teaching Certification
