Job Description and Duties

This position is located in a state hospital setting.

Under the direction of the Hospital General Services Administrator I, the Custodian Supervisor II will plan, organize, and coordinate custodial operations to ensure public property is protected and safe. The incumbent will respond to emergency situations as trained in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions.

Working Conditions

The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.

Special Requirements

The position requires incumbents to pass a Background Investigation prior to being hired. The Background Investigation may include Criminal Background, Fingerprinting, and a review of any governmental records. The position also requires incumbents to pass a Medical Evaluation.

To be considered for this job opportunity, applicants must have permanent civil service status, be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility. If you do not have eligibility, you must take the exam.
