Job Overview

Complete Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Radiologic Specialist to become a vital part of our expanding urgent care and primary care team. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and a 401k plan. Compensation ranges from $26 to $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Position Objectives

The primary aim of this position is to deliver radiologic services during designated hours while also providing medical assistant support during periods of low imaging demand and high medical assistant needs. Ideal candidates will possess an ARRT certification and a Tennessee State License (limited or full scope radiography). We value flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Facility Features

Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art digital radiography technology, allowing for rapid image acquisition and display. Operating hours are generally from 9 am to 7 pm, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities

Radiologic Specialist Duties:

  • Operate radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Communicate procedures to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Record vital signs, perform blood draws, administer injections, and assist with clinical tasks as necessary.
  • Support procedures under physician supervision.
  • Respond to patient inquiries.
  • Availability to work some weekends is required.
  • Willingness to engage in cross-training opportunities.

Medical Assistant Duties:

  • Manage clinical and phone triage responsibilities, effectively routing patient scheduling.
  • Handle high call volumes while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • Understand various insurance types and pre-authorization processes.
  • Collect patient vitals and history, providing efficient telephone triage.
  • Assist with procedures, demonstrating initiative and anticipating provider needs.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Active registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is mandatory.
  • Full scope imaging certification is preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is advantageous.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician's office or clinic is essential, with a preference for Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience.
  • Knowledge of medications, dosage calculations, and injection administration (IM, SubQ & ID) is required; IV experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer proficiency is necessary, with a preference for Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, documentation skills, and excellent communication, customer service, organization, and telephone skills are essential.
