Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations including abdominal and thoracic assessments, pregnancy confirmations, and general health screenings.
  • Utilize echocardiography techniques to evaluate cardiac conditions.
  • Conduct ultrasound-guided procedures such as fluid cavity centesis and biopsies.
  • Document detailed and accurate medical reports following examinations.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification from the American College of Veterinary Radiology or completion of a residency program.
  • Prior experience in ultrasound is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements
The role involves various physical activities including sitting, climbing, and lifting. Candidates should be able to move and handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Visual acuity for close and distant tasks is essential, along with the ability to operate standard office equipment.
