Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership for Abode Services' fundraising initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Establish and implement effective strategies for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding major donors, corporations, and foundations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Board members, community leaders, and partners.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive donor recognition program, ensuring timely and meaningful recognition of major gifts.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to integrate fundraising efforts with program development and community engagement initiatives.
  • Manage and analyze donor data to inform fundraising strategies and maximize revenue growth.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on fundraising progress, outcomes, and impact.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, marketing, or communications, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience raising funds for human services programs, with a strong understanding of the Bay Area nonprofit landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong management skills, including planning, budgeting, and outreach strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
