In the role of a Battery Manufacturing Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing and scaling the production methodologies for battery cells. Your proficiency in critical areas such as welding techniques, roll-to-roll manufacturing, and cell assembly processes will be vital in fostering innovation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and scale the manufacturing processes for battery cells
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement strategies
  • Manage equipment qualification, validation, and ongoing maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve product performance

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related discipline)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting for complex electrical or electro-chemical products
  • Proven expertise in battery cell manufacturing processes (cylindrical, prismatic, or pouch) is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong technical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience with data analysis and process optimization tools
  • A results-driven attitude and a commitment to innovation
