Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Fortune Brands. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling metal products, such as doors and windows, and performing various tasks to ensure high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble metal products, including doors and windows, according to established processes and procedures.
  • Cut and punch wood and metal materials to be assembled later in the process.
  • Operate drill presses, sawing equipment, punch presses, laminating, and riveting machines to assist in assembly operations.
  • Perform quality checks on products manufactured and inspect the work of others.
  • Utilize required safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to eliminate or reduce workplace hazards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Reading and writing skills are essential, with the ability to read and comprehend simple correspondence and numbers.
  • Ability to process specified instructions and add, subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
  • Ability to measure, read, and understand a tape measure.
