Job Overview:
Position: Analytics Consultant
Duration: 24 Months
Compensation: $50/hr on C2C
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of consumer credit segmentation for customers.
- Operationalize metrics related to customer behavior, financial health, and share of wallet.
- Manage data, including executing large queries and conducting data quality assessments for further analysis.
- Collaborate with database architects on the design of internal data repositories.
- Identify both internal and external intelligence, benchmark data, and other information to enhance customer insights.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in reporting and analytics, or a Master's degree in applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, or computer sciences with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Understanding of consumer credit analysis.
- Experience in deriving customer-level insights across various product lines and channels.
- Proven ability to execute strategic analytics, identifying opportunities and using a fact-based approach to validate hypotheses.
- Familiarity with retail banking.
- Ability to clearly define analysis objectives, lead analytics execution, and translate insights into actionable business discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in a matrixed, cross-functional, collaborative, and dispersed organization.
- Strong urgency and results orientation, with exceptional ability to manage and deliver analytics on schedule.
- Proficient in data manipulation using tools such as SAS, SQL, R, UNIX, Oracle, and Teradata.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with sophisticated, multidimensional segmentation.
- Background in developing customer-centric key performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Tableau.
