Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

At Unreal Gigs, we're seeking a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our data-driven decision-making team, you'll play a crucial role in analyzing complex datasets, uncovering actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical analysis techniques.
- Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Data Exploration: Explore and clean datasets to ensure data quality and integrity, identifying and addressing data anomalies, inconsistencies, and missing values.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking and monitoring mechanisms to assess the performance and impact of business intelligence initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Business Insights: Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to stakeholders based on data analysis findings, supporting decision-making and driving business growth.
- Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to create a unified view of business performance and metrics, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analyses and deep dives into specific business questions or problems, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and tools to uncover insights and drive solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions that meet business needs.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
- Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior analysts, sharing expertise and best practices in business intelligence, and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions within the team.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis, with a focus on data visualization, statistical analysis, and business insights.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong statistical analysis skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series forecasting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Experience with data integration and data modeling concepts, with the ability to design and implement data models for business intelligence reporting.
