Position Details:
This is a full-time position, offering over 40 hours per week with potential for career advancement within a reputable consulting firm.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is $17, with a premium of $17.75 for bilingual candidates.
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after a 90-day period, including a 401(k) plan with company matching after one year of service.
Key Highlights:
This position is initially a contract assignment, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on attendance, performance, and business requirements.
Work hours are Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6 AM and 10 PM (8-hour shifts). During peak seasons, employees may be required to work overtime, while hours may vary between 32 to 40 hours during training and off-peak periods.
Employees will start onsite for training and will transition to remote work thereafter.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with the enrollment process and updates to their healthcare and pension plans.
- Begin with one client and receive cross-training to support multiple clients over time.
- Engage with clients via phone, web chat, and email to provide assistance.
- Build rapport and respond to inquiries through various communication channels.
- Handle sensitive information with care, adhering to HIPAA and data privacy regulations.
- Simplify complex plan information and processes for client understanding.
- Review client plan documents and utilize knowledge base tools to address immediate inquiries and anticipate future needs.
- Ensure compliance with company and client procedures, providing accurate information.
- Maintain thorough and professional documentation of calls and cases.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Attendance is crucial during the initial 90-day period.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in phone-based customer service is advantageous.
