Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating industrial material handling equipment and other devices to load and unload materials, store and relocate materials within the warehouse, and maintain accurate inventory using standard operating practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of forklift equipment at the start of each shift, identifying and reporting any damage or defects.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Efficiently load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts.
  • Maintain meticulous inventory records, including cycle counts, audits, and reporting of shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate shipments, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.

  • Organizational skills: Establish structure and order within your role, work efficiently and effectively, and increase productivity and performance.
  • Forklift Operation: Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including electric and gas-powered models.
  • Inventory Management: Accurate tracking and management of inventory, including cycle counts, audits, and reporting.
  • Material Handling: Safe and efficient handling of materials, including loading, unloading, and storage.
  • Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety regulations and procedures, including PPE usage and equipment inspection.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent preferred but not required.
  • 3-6 years of relevant demonstrated experience as a Warehouse Forklift Operator, including proficiency in operating diverse types of forklift equipment.
  • Valid Driver's License, required for potential transportation or delivery tasks.
  • Proven knowledge and experience with industrial equipment, such as pallet jacks, conveyors, and other material handling tools.
Work Environment and Schedule:

This position is based at our Seattle, WA Warehouse and requires onsite presence for at least 5 days per week. Please note that work schedules may include weekends and holidays to accommodate seasonal business needs.

Physical Demands:

Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle packages, inventory, and material handling equipment. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, squat, push, twist, and pull.

Excellent at working independently and as a team member with a good work ethic, and good decision-making skills. Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, be flexible and stress resistant.

Salary Disclosure:

The typical base pay range for this role is $24.62-$35.19 per hour. Individual base pay depends on numerous factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.
